We troll with 2 to 4 rods with a number of stacked “dummy” flashers to attract fish to our gear.
Typically we are using bare hooks, or small pink coloured hoochies. Sockeye are soft mouthed, so they can easily twist and jump off the line, so anglers who play fish with finesse generally fair better at landing their fish!
